Salary: £40,000 – £42,000

What you will do
- Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medicines to ensure full compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process and maintain precise prescription records.
- Escalate discrepancies immediately and proactively spot potential issues before they become incidents.
- Mentor junior colleagues and foster a team culture rooted in accountability and quality.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with the wider pharmacy team to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent qualification required.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking.
- Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take full accountability for actions.
- Commitment to patient outcomes and high-quality clinical care.
