What you will do

• Run screening clinics independently, including setup and coordination with venue teams.
• Conduct general eye health checks and measure visual acuity for patients.
• Administer pupil dilation drops and operate photography and OCT equipment to scan the retina.
• Perform initial reviews of captured images before sending them for professional grading.
• Manage daily equipment cleaning, checks, and basic maintenance.
• Maintain stock and equipment to ensure smooth daily clinic operations.

Requirements

• Full driving licence and access to a car are essential for travel between clinics.
• Must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Minimum 5 GCSEs including literacy, numeracy, and IT, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service skills and patience when dealing with diverse service users.
• High attention to detail and a thorough approach to clinical tasks.
• Willingness to enroll in and complete the national Health Screening Diploma course.
