What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Manage maintenance records and parts inventory using CMMS and SAP.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Train and mentor team members while monitoring performance against goals.
• Lead weekly team meetings to align on maintenance objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rochester, NY.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC automation, and VFDs.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Physical ability to work at heights and lift up to 50lbs.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance or engineering.
• Stainless steel and sanitary welding skills.
• NYS Boiler License.
