What you will do

• Conduct research in Network Science focusing on resilience and the capability of networks to recover from topological and service disruptions.
• Apply theoretical models to real-world infrastructural networks including power grids, telecommunications, and transportation.
• Collaborate with diverse EEMCS groups specializing in graph signal processing, network data science, and stochastic processes.
• Establish and manage new collaborations with industrial partners.
• Acquire funded research projects at national and international levels.
• Deliver lectures and supervise students, including obtaining a University Teaching Qualification (UTQ).

Requirements

• PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or operations research.
• Expertise in the theory of Network Science and network resilience.
• Must be based in or relocate to the Netherlands.
• Proven ability to secure research funding and drive academic collaborations.
• Passion for education and lecturing.
• High English proficiency.
