What you will do

• Lead and develop the Automation Engineering team in Mexico, aligning priorities with the Automation & Digital Americas strategy.
• Drive the safe and efficient delivery of automation engineering solutions to support business goals and customer value.
• Oversee project execution, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members through performance management and capability building.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in project, service, sales, and customer-facing teams.
• Implement simplification and standardization to improve productivity across engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial systems.
• 8–10 years of experience in Automation Engineering.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing at least 10 direct reports within a global company.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong skills in project management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to travel as required (domestic and international).
