What you will do
- Drive revenue by selling solutions to universities and two- and four-year colleges.
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to final contracting.
- Develop and execute a clear territory plan to achieve and exceed annual quotas.
- Build strategic relationships with senior executives, including VPs and Chancellors.
- Collaborate with marketing and partner success teams to ensure a team-selling approach.
- Manage the sales pipeline with rigor and discipline.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing 6-figure deals.
- Experience navigating complex selling environments and large institutions with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to apply a value-first approach when selling to senior executives.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Ability to travel 25-30% of the time.
Nice to have
- Startup experience with a self-starter mindset.
- Deep knowledge of fundraising and development roles within educational institutions.
- Experience with non-profit fundraising, crowdfunding, or peer-to-peer fundraising.
- Volunteer experience helping schools raise money or engage alumni.
