Starlink Grant Manager (State & Local Government)

Location: Hawthorne, CA. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations.

Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for government customers from contract signature through onboarding, account management, and retention.
• Build strong relationships to identify customer requirements, manage expectations, and champion feedback to influence technical development.
• Ensure readiness levels and schedules are met to realize forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule.
• Serve as the internal expert for the State & Local government vertical to shape strategic direction and commercial decision-making.
• Identify, design, and lead the implementation of new processes and system improvements to accelerate growth and internal scaling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 5+ years of professional business development, operations, or account management experience.
• 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or business operations.
• 1+ years of experience working specifically with government customers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
• Willingness to travel to other SpaceX offices and customer locations as needed.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience supporting technical products or services.
• Background in public sector, telecommunications, manufacturing, or satellite communications.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation, especially post-contract signature.
• Technical knowledge of Starlink systems, including satellites, ground networks, or user terminals.
