Principal Architect (AI): Defining and operationalizing an AI-assisted engineering platform to accelerate the software development lifecycle with an accent on IDE assistants, CI/CD modernization, and developer throughput. Location: Hybrid (2–3 days in office) in Atlanta, GA. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship available.

What you will do

• Define and operationalize an AI-assisted SDLC platform including IDE assistants, agentic coding tools, and release automation.
• Architect a model and vendor-agnostic abstraction layer to prevent tool lock-in.
• Establish security guardrails, IP protection, and license scanning to prevent contamination from AI-generated code.
• Embed AI-driven capabilities into CI/CD for automated PR reviews, test synthesis, and incident analysis.
• Measure real productivity against DORA metrics and optimize the tool stack based on ROI.
• Lead enablement and adoption of AI workflows across 10+ engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of expertise in end-to-end solution architecture or engineering effectiveness.
• Proven track record of deploying AI-assisted development tooling into production with measurable outcomes.
• Deep experience with modern CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with tools like GitHub Copilot Enterprise, Cursor, or Claude Code at organizational scale.
• Strong applied LLM knowledge: prompt design, RAG patterns, and cost/latency optimization.
• Must be based in Atlanta, GA for hybrid work (2-3 days/week).
