What you will do

• Partner with executive stakeholders to scope and plan large-scale legacy modernization initiatives.
• Lead the technical decomposition of complex transaction systems to ensure functional parity between legacy source code and cloud-native architectures.
• Analyze extractable processes and dependencies to build incremental value realization plans and business cases for client CFOs.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Data leadership to establish secure and scalable approaches for IAM and Networking (HIPAA/NIST).
• Oversee the technical workforce transformation and training of client teams on AI coding agent usage.
• Manage production releases through tabletop cutover exercises and dual-run validations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed systems.
• Deep proficiency in GCP or AWS, specifically Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Big Data, and Spanner (Aurora).
• Proven track record of transitioning legacy systems (COBOL, JCL, DB2) to modern environments (Java, Go, or .Net).
• Practical experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and tuning agentic workflows.
• Ability to navigate between deep-dive technical debugging and high-level strategy sessions with C-suite stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
