What you will do

• Define and deliver the roadmap for the AI Platform supporting internal stakeholders and external products.
• Lead the full lifecycle of ML and LLM workstreams, from data ingestion and training to deployment and optimization.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and clinical leadership to develop production-grade systems for patient record processing.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into detailed user stories with clear business rationale and measurable success criteria.
• Partner with AI Researchers to mature proofs of concept into production-ready capabilities.
• Perform hands-on exploration of user feedback and validation data to ensure model performance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience in technology, SaaS, or tech-enabled services.
• Robust understanding of AI/ML technologies and the AI/ML product lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and data engineering principles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience leading AI/ML Platform teams and building tools to scale vertically and horizontally.
• Deep understanding of MLOps, model training, deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and prompt engineering strategies.
• Previous professional background as a data scientist or backend engineer.
• Experience in healthcare technology, specifically with clinical datasets (EHR, Claims, Population Health).
