What you will do

• Prepare and file accurate state and federal tax documents.
• Develop tax strategies and policies to ensure client compliance with local and federal laws.
• Manage client relationships and provide professional audit, accounting, and tax services.
• Direct the work of staff employees and provide on-the-job training.
• Supervise engagement planning, monitor budgets, and ensure adherence to due dates.
• Represent clients before regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Ability to meet with business and individual clients at least annually.
• Strong consulting skills to diagnose client needs and suggest solutions.
• Experience in engagement planning and staff supervision.
• Must be able to work on-site in Watertown, NY.
