TL;DR

Forward Deployed Engineer (Fullstack/AI): Building bespoke solutions and custom AI agent observability integrations for the endpoint observability platform with an accent on telemetry ingestion and OS-level extensions. Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States or Canada)

Salary: $200,000 – $320,000 + Equity (depending on level IC6-IC8)

What you will do

• Partner directly with customers to design and implement custom telemetry integrations and ingest customer-specific data sources.
• Develop bespoke detection and analytics capabilities, including custom correlation logic and confidence scoring models.
• Extend the endpoint agent to ensure seamless operation in specialized infrastructure and performance-constrained systems.
• Build full-stack solutions such as custom dashboards, API integrations, and frontend experiences.
• Translate real-world challenges and field insights into product requirements and engineering priorities.
• Support customers through deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure long-term value realization.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering capability with React, TypeScript, Rust, and Python.
• Deep understanding of Windows and/or macOS internals, including process management and memory architecture.
• Proven experience building data adapters, API integrations, and custom telemetry collection.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in professional services, solutions engineering, or forward deployed engineering roles.
• Background in security operations, incident response, or red teaming.
• Deep knowledge of EDR/XDR endpoint security platforms.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Systems-level development experience building high-performance native software.
