What you will do

• Lead scientist-to-scientist collaboration to drive adoption of Luminex technology by existing and new customers.
• Develop custom assays with customers in high-value accounts and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Deliver comprehensive technical training on assay design and development for Luminex products.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting of hardware and software to ensure customer success.
• Create scientific content including whitepapers, posters, and blog articles to build awareness of technology flexibility.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales to integrate field experience into product and course development.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or similar (Ph.D. preferred).
• Must be based in the United States to support domestic travel and Austin-based operations.
• 2+ years of success as a Field Applications Scientist or as a scientist with project management responsibility.
• Proficiency with Luminex instrumentation and 3+ years of experience with immunoassay and nucleic acid assays.
• Proven expertise in technical application training and customer education.
• Strong understanding of GLP and molecular biology enzyme reactions.
