What you will do

• Lead game design for new projects, features, and content, ensuring alignment with product strategy and player expectations.
• Guide and mentor a team of designers, setting clear goals and fostering professional development.
• Uphold design craft standards and optimize Design Department processes, including recruiting and performance assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including art, engineering, and product management.
• Balance player feedback, data insights, and business objectives to make informed design decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in game design within game development.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a game design organization.
• Experience developing PVP games and working in a "games as a service" (GaaS) environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant teams of designers and recruiting new talent.
• Valid US work authorization

Nice to have

• Intimate understanding of the League of Legends gameplay experience.
• Experience with MOBA or competitive multiplayer titles.
• Ability to leverage user research, telemetry, and data analysis to inform design.
