What you will do

• Set and steward the long-term creative and gameplay direction, including design pillars for combat, progression, and live events.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the Design team, establishing high standards for all game content.
• Partner with the Director of Product on roadmap shape, monetization strategy, and prioritization for the live service.
• Analyze live performance data to translate insights into creative direction and maintain long-term economy health.
• Represent the player and game health in senior studio decisions and communicate with the player community.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working on a Games as a Service (GaaS) product.
• 5+ years in a Game Director, Design Director, or principal-level leadership role on a scale mobile title.
• Deep experience in action-RPG, collection RPG, or gacha-driven live services.
• Advanced understanding of game economics and monetization design.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Must be based in Vancouver for on-site work.
