What you will do
- Manage, mentor, and direct a team of Systems Designers, overseeing career development and performance management.
- Oversee and implement gameplay systems including player mechanics, world simulation, economy, and game balance.
- Prototype and iterate on gameplay systems using proprietary internal tools and scripting.
- Collaborate with Gameplay Programming and Design leadership to align with creative and technical goals.
- Create and maintain detailed gameplay system documentation and tutorial videos.
- Plan systems design schedules, set priorities, and assign work in coordination with Project Management.
Requirements
- Experience with level editing tools and scripting (Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar).
- Knowledge of Maya or other major 3D modeling programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be based in the US or authorized to work under US jurisdiction (implied by 401k and US benefits).
Nice to have
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator.
- UE4 Blueprint scripting skills.
