TL;DR

Director, Email Growth & App Acquisition (Marketing): Leading lifecycle marketing programs and app acquisition efforts to drive user engagement for a global travel search engine with an accent on CRM strategy, mobile growth, and personalized communications. Focus on scaling high-quality app installs, optimizing retention frameworks, and managing high-performing growth teams.

Location: Hybrid: Must commute to Cambridge, MA; Norwalk, CT; or Miami, FL offices 3 times per week.

Salary: $185,000 - $205,000

What you will do

  • Define and lead the lifecycle marketing strategy across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Own the app acquisition strategy to drive high-quality installs and long-term user engagement.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to optimize programs and provide strategic recommendations to product and engineering teams.
  • Build and refine segmentation and personalization frameworks to improve user retention and re-engagement.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing CRM and growth marketing team.
  • Track and report key metrics including retention, conversion, LTV, and CPA.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or mobile app marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing engagement and acquisition programs at scale.
  • Deep expertise in CRM channels (email, push) and mobile app ecosystems.
  • Experience with MarTech tools such as Braze, Iterable, Leanplum, Airship, Adjust, or AppsFlyer.
  • Proven experience building and leading CRM, lifecycle, or growth marketing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, or consumer technology.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks for lifecycle programs.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple markets.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and their impact on mobile attribution.
