Audio Engineering Intern (Audio Production)

Salary: $20 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain quality standards through recording and audio repair techniques including equalizers, compressors, and noise reduction.
• Mix and fix audio and video podcasts using DAVID Systems MTE and AVID Pro Tools.
• Support live events at hirify.global HQ alongside Audio Engineers.
• Participate in audio equipment installation and repair tasks.
• Assist with inventory and storage management projects.
• Collaborate with editorial and technical colleagues in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

• Must be a current student in an accredited degree program or a recent graduate (within 12 months).
• Formal education in audio production (broadcast, post-production, live sound, etc.).
• Experience with AVID Pro Tools.
• Solid grasp of audio engineering fundamentals and signal flow.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be based in Washington, D.C. for on-site work.
