What you will do
- Record voice-over, lip-sync dialogue, and songs with or without video reference.
- Record talent in studio and remotely while following client specifications.
- Edit audio files to remove dropout noise and irregularities, and ensure dialogue timing and lip synchronization.
- Monitor audio quality, verify production instructions, and back up projects daily.
- Identify recording, source-material, software, and technical issues and coordinate prompt resolution.
- Work with schedulers, directors, and supervisors to maintain production schedules and improve production quality.
Requirements
- Experience with ADR, dubbing, or animation recording.
- Familiarity with Mac environments, Pro Tools audio software and hardware, compressors, microphones, and AD converters.
- Knowledge of SessionLink or Source Connect for remote recording.
- Familiarity with audio and session formats including WAV, MP3, PTX, and OMF.
- Knowledge of studio recording techniques in studio and remote environments.
- Ability to identify and resolve equipment and technical problems when possible.
