Content Writer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote (Canada/USA). Must be able to travel to Mississauga or Salt Lake City for occasional team events and onboarding.

Salary: $43.10 - $47.86 USD per hour

What you will do

• Write and maintain UI content including microcopy, labels, and dialog boxes for sustaining product updates.
• Manage the content release calendar, including help files, Resource Hub updates, and in-app communications.
• Collaborate with Product Leaders and Engineers to ensure content accuracy and alignment with user needs.
• Apply content architecture principles to structure content for reuse across multiple platforms.
• Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency in drafting, editing, and brainstorming while maintaining brand voice.
• Perform QA and deployment tasks for help file builds and release processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, UX writing, technical communications, or journalism.
• Strong proficiency in XML and HTML for software UI and help systems.
• Experience in content writing within product-focused or technical environments.
• Skilled in structuring language for XML and JSON formats.
• Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio showcasing instructional content and UI microcopy samples.

Nice to have

• Domain knowledge in EHR or healthcare software.
• Familiarity with tools such as Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Aha!, Figma, Miro, or Smartsheet.
