TL;DR

Lead Solutions Consultant (SaaS/Spend Management): Leading technical and commercial aspects for strategic pursuits in North America with an accent on solution strategy, ERP integration, and financial process optimization. Focus on designing scalable solution architectures for enterprise customers and mentoring the Solutions Consulting team.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of Boston hubs. Relocation support is available.

Salary: $140,500 – $165,000 base + $45,000 commission

What you will do

  • Lead solution strategy and design for the most strategic and complex North American pursuits from discovery to technical close.
  • Translate complex finance and operational requirements into scalable designs aligned with accounting best practices and audit requirements.
  • Act as the senior SC presence in NAM, developing playbooks, discovery frameworks, and demo libraries.
  • Lead architectural discussions with enterprise IT, integration, and security stakeholders across cloud and on-premise ERP environments.
  • Mentor the SC team through onboarding, demo certification, and regular deal-coaching sessions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to surface customer patterns and provide roadmap input.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting for complex B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years in a lead or mentoring capacity.
  • Deep expertise in spend management, P2P/AP automation, T&E, corporate cards, and financial controls.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise ERP landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday) and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS, SFTP).
  • Proven track record of presenting value to C-level executives (CFOs, CIOs) at Global 2000 enterprises.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of Boston hubs.
  • English: C1+ proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Prior professional experience as a finance practitioner (Controller, FP&A, or AP Manager).
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting credential.
  • Experience scaling a Solutions Consulting function within a high-growth SaaS environment.
