What you will do
- Build and maintain robust applications using React, TypeScript, Django, and Postgres.
- Digitize laborious paper-based workflows for OBGYN clinics and enable portable electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with product design and management to deliver high-quality experiences for patients and providers.
- Mentor colleagues and foster a knowledge-sharing culture within the engineering team.
- Ensure system quality through comprehensive unit tests and architectural best practices.
- Implement security and compliance safeguards for sensitive patient information.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of delivering complex projects.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and CSS-in-JS libraries.
- Experience implementing frontend architecture (component systems, npm workspaces, Storybook, Playwright).
- Proficiency with web frameworks such as Django.
- Must be excited about working in-person in Menlo Park, CA.
- Familiarity with modern AI-driven development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot).
Nice to have
- Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience.
- Experience driving products from zero to one.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards like FHIR and HL7.
- Interest in applying LLMs to the product.
