What you will do

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including transactional revenue journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead the design and automation of revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and contra-revenue processes across global payments infrastructure.
• Analyze payment processor interchange pricing models to identify and recommend cost savings.
• Monitor and reconcile high-volume, multi-currency payment flows to ensure transaction-level data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Payments, Finance, Tax, and Data teams to develop standard operating procedures.
• Support global and statutory audits by preparing necessary workpapers and schedules.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) or a combination of public and fintech industry experience.
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting; CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance.
• Expert Excel knowledge, specifically handling record sets exceeding 1 million rows.
• Experience with SQL for querying commercial databases.
• Must be based in the United States.
