What you will do

• Design and develop Java-based applications utilizing Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate backend systems with external vendors using REST/SOAP and messaging protocols.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure database performance and scalability.
• Participate in architecture decisions, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure code quality and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant professional technical experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+), OOP, and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Expertise in Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in the United States to be eligible for benefits and employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
