What you will do
- Provide front-line support for EMR software, assisting users with setup, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
- Customize dynamic forms, visit notes, encounter forms, and problem templates to enhance usability.
- Implement e-prescribing functionalities and set up automated appointment reminders (SMS, calls, emails).
- Configure eFax, Dymo Label Printer, Medscan applications, and HIE interfaces.
- Conduct technical training for internal teams, providers, and administrative staff.
- Test new features and modules, including Patient Portal, Patient Intake, and Telehealth.
Requirements
- Experience with Medical Records software and a strong understanding of typical medical office workflows.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations such as system outages or cyber attacks.
- Knowledge of setting up e-prescribing for medications and controlled substances.
- Ability to suggest and implement workflow modifications to improve office efficiency and revenue.
