TL;DR

Technical Support Engineer (MedTech): Supporting enterprise software for medical device and life sciences industries with an accent on Windows server troubleshooting, SQL database management, and customer communication. Location: Must be based in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 USD annually

What you will do

  • Perform enterprise software installations, upgrades, and patching in customer environments.
  • Serve as a primary technical resource for support cases, troubleshooting issues via logs and Windows Event Viewer.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data, identify anomalies, and perform basic database maintenance.
  • Communicate technical resolutions clearly to customers and manage support tickets from intake to resolution.
  • Collaborate with implementation and engineering teams on escalations and knowledge base documentation.
  • Assist senior team members with customer data migration projects.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in enterprise software support or systems administration.
  • Solid SQL skills including JOINs, filtering, grouping, and aggregations.
  • Strong troubleshooting proficiency in Windows server environments.
  • Ability to access and investigate customer environments via remote and VM access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interactions.

Nice to have

  • Experience in life sciences, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server high availability concepts or Azure workloads.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting or print server troubleshooting.
