TL;DR

Technical Support Engineer (Fintech): Troubleshooting technical obstacles and providing expert support for an AI-powered Accounting Transformation Platform with an accent on root cause analysis, data transformations, and backend configuration. Focus on unblocking customers through log analysis, API troubleshooting, and collaborating with product teams to improve documentation.

Location: Must be based in Los Angeles, California (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Salary: $60,000–$90,000

What you will do

  • Own and resolve support cases via email and screen share, prioritizing based on customer urgency.
  • Troubleshoot error messages and unexpected behaviors to identify root causes and technical resolutions.
  • Perform backend configuration, including data transformations, uploads, and migrations.
  • Utilize session replay, log analysis, and developer tools for deep-dive troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to Knowledge Base articles in collaboration with Product and Education teams.
  • Engage in cross-functional meetings to provide feedback on roadmap direction and defect prioritization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Technical Support, IT, or a related technical field.
  • Strong technical aptitude for quickly learning complex, evolving SaaS products.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce, or JIRA.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Visa sponsorship is NOT available.
  • Must be able to work from the Los Angeles office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise accounting/finance software.
  • Familiarity with SQL, API troubleshooting, or data integration concepts.
  • Experience with AI-powered support tools or chatbot-driven ticket deflection.
  • Degree in Information Systems, IT, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
