Location: Must already live in the Netherlands (preferably within 30 km of The Hague) and work from the office at least 3 days per week

Salary: €4,500 - €5,900 per month

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain IPTV and OTT media network elements.
• Translate business demands into clear end-to-end technical designs, documentation, and reusable templates.
• Monitor and optimize TV network performance to proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Drive capacity planning, forecasting, and lifecycle management of the media ecosystem.
• Coordinate with architects, vendors, integrators, and Media Operations for system implementation.
• Support troubleshooting and incident resolution, focusing on continuity and resiliency measures.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Netherlands.
• Hybrid presence in the Den Haag office (at least 3 days/week).
• HBO/WO level education in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• ~5+ years experience designing and supporting media/IPTV/OTT services in complex environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, UDP, routing, VLANs).
• Strong discipline in HLD/LLD documentation and diagramming.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with CA/DRM, CDN, transcoding, middleware, and OTT protocols.
• Basic Linux and virtualization knowledge (VMware, OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM).
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, containerization, and NFV concepts.
• Experience designing resiliency patterns like disaster recovery and failover automation.
