What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end management of Visa and Mastercard scheme notifications, releases, and compliance obligations.
  • Monitor and interpret scheme publications, translating technical and regulatory updates into clear business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a robust scheme compliance framework, including governance processes and reporting structures.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts across Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for card scheme representatives to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Identify strategic opportunities from scheme changes to maximize business and customer value.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in payments, card schemes, compliance, or regulated financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Visa and Mastercard rules, release cycles, and mandates.
  • Proven success managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to convert technical or regulatory requirements into practical implementation plans.
  • Must be based in Spain.
