What you will do

• Lead electrical system design for mission-critical data center infrastructure from concept through commissioning.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, contractors, and external consultants to resolve design challenges.
• Oversee the development and quality control of electrical design deliverables, including one-line diagrams and arc flash analyses.
• Ensure strict compliance with NEC, IEEE, and IEC standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead risk assessments, factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), and system integration verification.
• Collaborate with mechanical and architectural teams to ensure full coordination of integrated building systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of experience in A/E design environments, specifically focusing on data centers or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Must be located in the United States.
• Expertise in power distribution systems, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and generators.
• Proficiency in electrical modeling tools (SKM, ETAP) and BIM coordination tools (Revit).
