HSE Officer (Engineering)

What you will do

• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards and project requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective or preventive actions to mitigate hazards.
• Enforce safe work practices and ensure the proper use of PPE by all personnel.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and support emergency response plans and drills.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions while maintaining accurate HSE records.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHAD (Qudorat) requirements and other UAE regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an HSE Officer/Inspector in construction projects.
• Technical Diploma or Diploma in Health & Safety Management.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• Registered in OSHAD “Qudorat” system (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and reporting skills.
