Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire (Onsite)

Salary: £13.91–£15.13 per hour (Average annual earnings approx. £41,000)

What you will do

• Assist the Locality Manager by providing day-to-day support and supervision to the staff team.
• Deliver person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism on a 1:1 basis.
• Conduct team meetings, observations, and provide positive role modelling for staff.
• Provide emotional and practical support to enable individuals to live their lives their way.
• Work closely with families and outside agencies to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain responsibility for service delivery while remaining calm in challenging situations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Must hold a full UK Manual driving license.
• Position open to female applicants only (permitted under the Equality Act 2010).
• Commitment to empowering people and promoting independence.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
