Card Acquiring, Business Banking Customer Operations Advisor (Card Acquiring): Provide magician-standard customer support for hirify.global Business Banking’s card acquiring operations with an accent on chargebacks, disputes, and terminal issues while acting as a subject matter expert. Focus on end-to-end ownership of complex problems, coordinating with a third-party provider, and improving processes through QA, remediation, and trend identification.

Location: Cardiff, London or Remote (UK)

Salary: £28,050–£35,475 + Incentive Awards tied to performance

hirify.global is a UK digital bank building business banking and card acquiring operations.

What you will do

  • Deliver magician-standard support across calls, chat, and email.
  • Handle card acquiring queries, including chargebacks, disputes, and terminal issues.
  • Own complex, high-impact issues end to end as a subject matter expert.
  • Work closely with a third-party provider (e.g., Adyen), often in parallel with customer support.
  • Support businesses through complex situations (e.g., insolvency, transitions) and manage merchant relationships.
  • Run QA and remediation, manage audit requests, and improve processes based on trends and data quality.

Requirements

  • Experience in card acquiring / merchant services.
  • Experience working with card acquiring providers.
  • Understanding of merchant lifecycles (onboarding to offboarding).
  • Comfort handling complex, high-pressure situations and frustrated customers.
  • Ability to work across calls, chat, and email.
  • Available for training starting Monday 30th August 2026 for 8 weeks (Monday–Friday, 9am–5:30pm all remote) with no holidays/appointments/clashes during that period.

  • Experience handling chargebacks and disputes.

Hiring process
