What you will do

• Analyze upcoming regulations and translate requirements into practical business controls.
• Act as the primary senior compliance advisor to the Trading department on complex regulatory matters.
• Specialize in digital asset compliance, advising on frameworks like MiCAR and MiFID II.
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal control documentation.
• Engage directly with regulators, exchanges, and other stakeholders during audits and inquiries.
• Provide independent challenge and second-line oversight to business initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within a financial markets environment.
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks (Wft, MiFID II, EMIR, MAR, MiCAR, DORA).
• Proven experience in drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Experience interacting directly with regulators and managing inspections.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and markets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
