What you will do
- Design and operate backend services powering conversational and agentic AI features.
- Implement robust patterns for LLM integration via AWS Bedrock, including tracing and cost management.
- Partner with Staff Engineers to define architectural standards for AI-native product experiences.
- Build orchestration layers for multi-step workflows, tool invocation, and rich content processing.
- Ensure high standards of observability, security, and performance for production-grade AI services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ML engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful features.
Requirements
- Significant backend software engineering experience in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or adjacent technologies.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient distributed systems.
- Practical experience or strong interest in integrating LLMs into production systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Paris, London, or Barcelona.
Nice to have
- Experience with conversational or agentic AI systems.
- Experience integrating LLMs with tool-calling and evaluation loops.
- Background in fintech, SaaS, or regulated environments.
- Experience with rich content processing or multimodal service design.
