What you will do

• Monitor production environment availability and maintain a holistic view of system health.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Optimize system performance and improve reliability to meet defined service-level objectives (SLOs).
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications.
• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and technical uplifts.
• Partner with development teams on system design, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
• 2+ years of experience in SRE, Software Development, or Performance Engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more high-level languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Expertise in AWS cloud computing and Kubernetes (administration, optimization, CRDs).
• Proficiency in CI/CD and provisioning tools like GitHub Actions and Terraform.
• Fluent English proficiency is required; working knowledge of German is an advantage.

Nice to have

• AWS vendor certifications or equivalent.
• Experience working within a Java-based development environment.
