TL;DR

Focus on owning AWS EKS/MSK environments, implementing GitOps workflows, and leading a small DevOps team to ensure system reliability.

What you will do

  • Own cloud infrastructure across AWS (EKS, MSK, RDS, S3, IAM) and Azure workloads using Terraform.
  • Manage the full CI/CD landscape using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Helm, including drift detection and progressive delivery.
  • Build and maintain self-service platform capabilities to empower product teams to deploy independently.
  • Define SLIs/SLOs and optimize system observability using Datadog.
  • Enhance cloud and pipeline security, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 controls and strong access governance.
  • Lead and develop a DevOps team consisting of internal and external engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
  • 2+ years in a senior or lead function.
  • Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes (preferably EKS), GitOps, and Datadog.
  • Deep AWS knowledge (IAM, VPC, MSK/Kafka, RDS, S3).
  • Must be based in Germany.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure security, including network policies and container scanning.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure or GCP.
