What you will do

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on water heaters, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints to prevent inconvenience and ensure a comfortable environment.
• Execute and evaluate preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment longevity and minimize downtime.
• Install new equipment and systems as directed by the Facilities Manager.
• Train less-experienced personnel on building systems and electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of specialized tasks.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the hotel/casino industry.
• Journeyman Engineer certification with proficiency in plumbing (soft soldering, brazing), welding (steel, stainless, aluminum), and electrical systems.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, central plant operations (chillers, compressors), and boiler plant operations.
• Working knowledge of major commercial kitchen equipment brands such as Stero, Garland, and Hobart.
• Proof of technical training (QE), basic plumbing knowledge, and a Level 3 or 4 boiler operator license.
