What you will do

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of 10 engineers across gameplay, full-stack, and infrastructure.
• Architect and evolve the infrastructure and codebase powering live, episodic web games.
• Define and implement best practices for web-based game architecture, build pipelines, and deployment standards.
• Drive the development of internal automation tools and systems to accelerate content creation and game delivery.
• Oversee hybrid cloud operations (Google Cloud and AWS), ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Partner with AI and content systems teams to connect creative workflows with automation pipelines.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, ideally in games or creative technology.
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js.
• Strong background in cloud-native architecture including GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proven track record of leading small, high-impact teams through technical growth and change.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable delivery or automation systems.
