Art Director (Brand & Graphic Design)

TL;DR

Art Director (Brand & Graphic Design): Leading the visual and strategic direction of brand experience projects with an accent on interdisciplinary design and client engagement. Focus on managing project lifecycles from conception to realization, leading pitches, and mentoring design staff.

Location: Hybrid. Must be local to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York and available onsite regularly (minimum 3 days per week).

What you will do

• Oversee the visual and strategic depth of design work from initial conception through to final realization.
• Act as the primary creative interface for clients, coordinating communication with account and strategy directors.
• Lead and manage interdisciplinary project teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Develop and lead creative pitches and interviews to secure new challenging projects.
• Mentor, develop, and guide junior design staff within the studio.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a creative agency, design studio, or similar environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and G-Suite.
• Proven track record of leading project teams and winning pitches.
• Must be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York.
• Experience across digital, three-dimensional, and art realms.
