What you will do

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand user pain points.
• Design intuitive user flows and interaction patterns while evolving the design system.
• Create polished, high-quality interfaces with a focus on usability, accessibility, and visual clarity.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to simplify complex technical systems into elegant UX.
• Prototype and iterate rapidly within a fast-moving startup environment.
• Communicate design decisions and connect UX choices to broader product strategy and business goals.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product design, including UX research, information architecture, and visual design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and polished visual execution.
• Expertise with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience working in a growth-stage startup environment.
• Technical fluency to collaborate on AI-native products and developer workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-powered design tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or AI-assisted prototyping.
• Experience designing generative AI or AI-native products.
• Familiarity with front-end development or design systems implementation.
• Experience with creator tools, developer platforms, or low-code/no-code products.
