What you will do

• Lead and mentor multiple crews in conducting wetland and other ecological surveys.
• Perform wetland and stream delineations according to the 1987 USACE Manual.
• Collect, record, and analyze geospatial data using Trimble and ESRI products.
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and other permitting documents.
• Conduct habitat assessments, functional assessments, and wildlife surveys.
• Ensure field safety compliance and mitigate in-field risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Hydrology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in wetland delineations with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of federal and state wetland regulations.
• Ability to conduct field work for 10+ hours per day in adverse conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)

Nice to have

• Experience with USACE Atypical and Problem Wetland Areas methodology.
• Midwest field work experience.
