TL;DR

Senior Substation Project Manager (Engineering): Managing services projects for high, medium, and low-voltage substations, underground and overhead transmission lines, and BESS with an accent on budget, schedule, and scope management. Location: Hybrid in Ann Arbor, MI, US (10% travel to project sites required)

What you will do

  • Manage the bottom line for services projects involving HV, MV, LV, underground and overhead transmission lines, and potentially BESS.
  • Lead project teams through conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and scope of services.
  • Respond to RFPs and prepare proposals for services work.
  • Act as the primary interface between clients, external stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across corporate and field environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience with high, medium, and low-voltage substations.
  • Professional license such as PE, P.Eng, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience across multiple phases of project execution.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding, including background checks and drug screening.
