TL;DR

Tech Support Intern (Cybersecurity): Assisting customers in successfully implementing and using a security awareness platform with an accent on technical troubleshooting and product configuration. Focus on diagnosing root causes of product issues, managing support ticket queues, and conducting technical walkthroughs for users.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the greater Tampa Bay area, working in the Clearwater, FL office 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday)

What you will do

  • Respond to customer calls and tickets, applying troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve product-related issues.
  • Research technical issues to identify root causes and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.
  • Assist customers with the configuration and implementation of hirify.global products to fit their technical environments.
  • Monitor and prioritize the technical support ticketing queue to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct technical walkthroughs and webinars to educate customers on product features and security best practices.
  • Work with Customer Success and Product teams to escalate issues and share customer feedback for product improvement.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a similar field
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Methodical troubleshooting mindset and ability to research solutions independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tickets simultaneously.
  • Collaborative approach and professionalism in all customer and colleague interactions.

Nice to have

  • Coursework or certifications in network or system administration.
  • Basic understanding of phishing, social engineering, and general security concepts.
  • Familiarity with customer support tools or ticketing systems.
  • Experience with technical configuration or virtual environments.
