What you will do

• Own architecture, delivery, and technical strategy for Transaction Monitoring services, APIs, and UI components.
• Lead development of high-throughput real-time and batch processing capabilities for fraud and AML detection.
• Lead and develop a globally distributed engineering team (hiring, coaching, performance management, resource planning).
• Manage to a budget and optimize cloud and operational costs.
• Partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Data Science to define and deliver roadmap priorities.
• Oversee full SDLC and engineering practices: CI/CD, secure coding, automated testing, and operational excellence; handle CAB responsibilities and drive root-cause prevention for critical production issues.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of direct engineering leadership experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular and/or React.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and C#.
• Cloud-native engineering experience with AWS (serverless, Docker/Kubernetes, API Gateway).
• Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems; strong DevOps/CI-CD/automated testing and Agile/Jira experience.
