Salary: $145,500 - $235,400 (depending on geographic zone)

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for the AI Configs product.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to improve GenAI workflows using the internal platform.
• Optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to identify technical tradeoffs.
• Take ownership of production code and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-quality features.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI features, Agents, or working with LLMs (OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, or AWS Bedrock).
• Understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, or deploying AI services in production.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to navigate ambiguous challenges.
• Must be based in the United States.
