Salary: $128,030–$153,613 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of statistical algorithms and machine learning models.
• Collaborate with software engineers and architects to deploy algorithms into production environments.
• Translate prototype algorithms into scalable products, services, and features.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex technical findings.
• Research and identify new applications for AI/ML to support program objectives.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate data science tasks across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required for national security clearance eligibility.
• Active US national security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong background in statistical analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD models and technical datasets.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and streaming applications (Kafka).
• In-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense industry.
