Salary: $161,138 - $200,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement and evaluate ML algorithms through rigorous experimentation and testing methodologies.
• Research and utilize transformer-based architectures and large foundational models to solve specific business problems.
• Develop scalable ranking and recommendation systems using Collaborative Filtering, Content-Based Filtering, and Learning to Rank (LTR) techniques.
• Design reinforcement learning algorithms and apply multi-armed bandit strategies to optimize dynamic decision-making.
• Conduct A/B tests to assess model performance, monitor results, and extract actionable insights using statistical techniques.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and marketing teams to integrate ML models into the product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in productionizing ML models for recommendations, ranking, or personalization.
• Experience with classical ML for tabular data and modern ML for sequential data.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, or Kubernetes.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bellevue, WA (Hybrid).
