What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable platform services including feature stores, real-time inference, and vector databases.
• Monitor online AB tests and analyze platform metrics to optimize recommendation system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into modular platform components.
• Enhance the ML platform ecosystem to support high developer velocity and system scalability.
• Mentor new team members on platform engineering best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building software solutions.
• Strong CS fundamentals with proficiency in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python.
• Experience with big data systems such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or AirFlow.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools like Ray, PyTorch, HuggingFace, or AWS Sagemaker.
• MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be based in San Jose, USA and able to work in a hybrid model.
