What you will do
- Drive new account acquisition across the Africa region to meet and exceed annual sales growth targets.
- Manage a dedicated territory, ensuring prompt responses to client requests and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Act as a commercial partner supporting budgeting, demand planning, and multi-year strategic planning.
- Gather and communicate client insights on products and competitors to inform corporate strategy.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and collaborate with the sales team to ensure reliable forecasting.
- Negotiate contract terms to secure profitable agreements in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial or sales role.
- Proven experience working for technology or data vendors.
- Previous experience in Account Executive or Sales roles.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Dubai.
Nice to have
- Experience in the maritime or commodities sectors.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, and Sales Navigator.
